About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To choose daily to live in Joy. To always be living an adventure, and currently to travel and see Japan as much as possible.

ABOUT ME

I am currently living in the Japan Alps as an adventure guide at a lodge called Northstar Outdoor Adventures in Norikura, Japan. I just graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Video Communication. I need adventure in my life, thats why I am in Japan now. I love coffee, climbing, skiing, longboarding, anything outside, reading, people, good conversation, sea kayaking and I wish I could cook better. I want to learn how to cook Japanese food.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe we choose to be joyful in life or we choose to be discouraged by lifes struggles. Joy is a choice I try and make daily and I love the fact that I can choose joy daily. We are called to live in freedom, and not be brought down by worldly things. I like that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to this CS thing but I frekin love it. My roommate hosted some people over the years so I got to experience it that way and met some real cool people. Now as I am traveling I am psyched to get started couch surfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The best couch surfing experience I have had was with a girl named Molly Jo who stayed at our house through my roommate. We all jammed together and sang funny songs as we sat by the bonfire drinking good beer and laughing a lot.
