Overview
About Me
I love homestead things - animals, gardens, making/preserving food, building projects, fiber crafts, etc.
I'm currently studying computer science, with the goal of eventually working remotely and having a small farm with a close community of friends.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've stayed with a couple of hosts so far and it was a lot of fun to experience a new place with someone who knows the area. I've also met up with several couchsurfers and had a great time sharing our new experiences as well as our backgrounds.
While I can't currently host (we have a very full house), I love meeting people who are passing through.
Interests
I play volleyball often and I'm training for a triathlon, so I do a lot of running and biking.
In my downtime, I love making things with my hands. I knit a lot and I recently started making wine.
I love animals and I foster kittens whenever I can.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm fairly open to any genre of movies, music, and books. I have yet to pick a favorite.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Driving across the US alone with my dog and two cats. I saw so much and met so many people!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you to knit and to make ridiculously good sauerkraut. I'd love to learn anything you can teach or share, but I'm especially interested in homesteading and permaculture.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm quiet and tidy, but I'm up for pretty much any activity. I'm also pretty crafty and I love to cook, so I could make something with/for you!
