Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Trying to travel as much as possible while I'm studying here in Spain
ABOUT ME
I love meeting new people and learning new things. Doing a degree in biochemistry and Spanish back in Australia, and hoping to eventually do some kind of career that lets me travel.
PHILOSOPHY
I like to take every opportunity I can get.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Surfing at the moment while I'm here in Europe, and looking forward to hosting more people when I'm back in Melbourne.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
So far I've hosted once and surfed a few times, and it's been pretty excellent!
Interests
The environment, public health, listening to music, meeting people, learning languages, wearing clashing colours, cooking (vegan is a specialty), reading, trying to do productive things instead of watching tv series but then watching hours and hours of them anyway, drawing scribbly comics, taking photos of things.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite movie is Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. Every frame of every scene is pretty! I like a variety of movies... mainly romantic comedies and arty foreign films. The only action movie I've ever liked is Die Hard 4.0.
My music taste is kind of eclectic and there are soooo many good bands that I feel like I should love but haven't got around to listening to yet - I listen to whatever my friends are listening to, or something that matches my mood at the time. Today I decided that this is my favourite song: http://peaktwins.bandcamp.com/track/your-love but I'll probably have a new favourite tomorrow.
I read a lot of non-fiction, but over the past few years I've spent more time on the internet than I have reading books. Some authors I've enjoyed recently have been Jeffrey Eugenides, Luke Davies and Michael Pollan. Recommend me things!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Christmas Island red crab migration, November 2010.
Teach, Learn, Share
I guess I could teach you basic French or Spanish. Or English, of course! I also enjoy vegan/vegetarian cooking but am in no way an expert - would love to learn new recipes or show you my risotto.
