HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I cook.
I enjoy listening.
I host when possible and graciously surf while away
and if possible will always lend a hand, give free advice, deliver coffee

This is about community, about seeing things in another way, opening up and becoming a part of the bigger picture.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed for the first time in Amsterdam November 2007 with a lovely Dutch man, and from then on hosted a few amazing strangers while living in Florence. Then there was Rome, Venice, and Amsterdam again.

I've found being as flexible as a guest as you are inviting as a host will always make these experiences worth while.

I am also an advocate of meeting with the local couchsurfers in whichever town I am living in. I have always enjoyed the comradeship between travelers.
