Overview
About Me
I smile and laugh. A lot. I have a geeky sense of humor, and I adore puns.
Connecting with people and learning their stories fills my soul.
I am outgoing, passionate, generally optimistic, and I find beauty everywhere.
I eat a pescatarian diet. Once I asked a concierge in a Texas hotel where I could find a vegetarian restaurant, and he responded with, “Well ma’am, in these parts, we call vegetarian food side dishes!” Haha! Joking aside, I am delighted to eat side dishes, when everyone else is eating meat.
I am aware that my life is not a dress rehearsal, and I want to live every moment to the fullest.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The philosophy behind Couchsurfing just makes sense to me; sharing a home (mine and yours) with another person is a beautiful way to move through the world.
I want to travel and be part of the real lives of the people who are natives; I am much more interested in people and culture than tourist attractions.
I believe in paying it forward.
