We are Holly (26) and Jasper (23), a friendly English brother and sister. We are backpacking around Europe together for a few weeks.

Jasper has already been hiking in Switzerland, to Florence, Rome, Zagreb, Dubrovnik, Budapest and Rowclaw, and I have joined him in Rotterdam, then on to Amsterdam and accidentally Hamburg.

Normally I live in London and work in environmental law, and Jasper lives in York and works for a software company.

We’re both open-minded and respectful of your space, keen to chat and share and explore together if you would like to! Goes without saying that we’re keen to explore, meet new people and try new things - we’d like to spend lots of time outdoors, go to nice cafes and bars and see music, wander cities and see anything you think is worth seeing (whether well-known or less known).

I have couchsurfed before, though more spontaneously and not through the app. Staying with a local is the best way to actually get to know a place, and meeting and sharing with nice and interesting strangers is always a great experience.

We’re also very happy to cook (vegetarian food, possible nice) for you. :)

Interests

I write music, play (some!) piano and learn cello. I also do local volunteering and local/environmental activism. Love music (all kinds - right now quite a lot of hip hop and soul) and read a lot (mostly fiction and philosophy).
