About Me
Hello there! I am a novice traveler from America who is just discovering the wonders of Couchsurfing. I have never traveled outside of North America, and even then, it was fluffy Cancun resorts or cruises around the Caribbean. Lovely, but I wanted more! Sooo I’m packing my bags and moving to southwest France to teach for 7 months. During my time there, I plan to do some traveling and I would love to meet locals in the places I plan to go to. A friend suggested CS, and here I am! The rest will be history.
I look forward to meeting others through CS! I too hope to host surfers once I move to France in late September!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would love to see Europe from the perspective of a local and I believe Couchsurfing would provide that experience in the most authentic way.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music is important to me and it’s important that the people I meet have an appreciation for it as well. I mainly like acoustic music, or a really great melody that stirs my soul. However, I’m open to all genres, especially if someone seems particularly passionate about one.
For movies, I have a pretty eclectic taste, but generally, I’m a big fan of rom-coms, comedy, and psychological thrillers.
Book I’m reading right now: Luckiest Girl Alive. Picked it up in an airport bookstore and it’s interesting so far!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was in a band for two years! Nothing big; just a small crew with a few talented high school friends. But man, those couple years were some of the best of my life.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook a mean grilled cheese sandwich and share many terrible dad jokes with you. I can share what lead me to where I am now, which might give you a better understanding of who I am. I am an open book!
