I'm a go with the flow kind of gal and love being abroad. I was born and primarily grew up in the United States and am currently a student at Ocean University of China in the Masters in Business program. I spent some years growing up abroad in China and Venezuela and consider those years as some of my best years. I now love to travel and learn/experience other cultures. Right now I am studying in China primarily to become fluent in Chinese and explore Asia.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet people from different cultures--or those from my own!-- while traveling so I can really experience that culture and others!

Interests

I really enjoy learning, both formally and informally. I also enjoy studying other languages, especially Chinese, reading all different types of genres, hanging out with friends, traveling, playing ultimate frisbee, and cooking.

My favorite books are The Queen of Camelot by Nancy McKenzie and The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexander Dumas. My favorite movie is Pride and Prejudice. I enjoy all genres of music, particularly instrumental and pop.
