I grew up on a farm 2 hours away from Calgary and have always know that the rural life was not for me. I love Calgary and the people in it. I got my degree in sociology and am an extremely open minded and accepting person. I work for a non profit that where i help vunerable calgarians and women in need become more involved in their community and use the agencies around calgary to their bennifit as well as helping them gain access to their basic needs.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I think that couchsurfing is a great oppotunity to meet new people from all around the world. People that you most likely would never meet otherwise. Not only does it create new experiences and friends but it also fosters a community around the world.
I also like the idea of couchsurfing because I do not belive that experiences should have a price on them. I am not a good capitalist and am wary of consumerism. I hate that money has hindered so many people from enjoying what other cities have to offer.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I hiked a volcano in Guatemala to see the sunset and it was pretty incredible. Growing up on a farm i guess I have done some pretty great things. I have been to Mardi Gras in NOLA twice and have had the time of my life. Last March me and my roommate did a road trip from Vancouver to San Diego on the 101 and then over to Las Vegas for a weekend.
