About Me

Hey guys, I'm from the UK and been traveling bits of Asia and Africa for the past 10 months but mainly just been wandering around New Zealand on my WHV trying not to run out of money.
I'm always up to try new things and share experiences with the people that I meet, basically just trying to see as much of the world as I can before reality calls and I have to go back to the UK and start adulting.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've never traveled solo before so I'm just looking to meet as many people as possible and hang out, plus the best way to see a place is get shown around by a local!

Interests

I love love love nature and the outdoors in general, especially wild swimming - I can't see a lake or ocean without diving in - and I'm trying to learn to surf but it hasn't been that successful so far! I've also been learning to snowboard which isn't going that well either but I'm pretty determined haha
I like kayaking, climbing etc but nothing beats hiking and wild camping for me!

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm absolutely in love with Taylor Swift ( I know, but I can't help it) but I'll listen to anything from The Beach Boys to Nickleback - plus anything I can dance to!
My favourite film has got to be Thelma and Louise and anything by Tarantino. I love really good horror movies and British comedies but also amazingly shit films like Con Air.
I'll read just about anything apart from Game of Thrones -style fantasy and I could talk for a long time about why I hate it so don't get me started.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I stayed in a convent in Zimbabwe for three weeks which was suprisingly so fun.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm not actually vegan but I can teach you how to bake vegan cakes/brownies and how to play some of my favourite card games. I know a fair bit about natural hair and beauty stuff too if you want to know!
If you speak Spanish that's an added bonus as I'm trying to learn and I can teach you Welsh which I promise will be entirely useless but pretty hilarious.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can cook for you and help with odd jobs, I'll try and make myself as useful as possible! I will also bring alcohol if you're into that 👍
