ABOUT ME

I LOVE music. I have made it my life, quite literally. I am certified to teach K-12 music, and I just love sharing music with people. It is everything to me. I am a musician, and I have performed in many different settings. I enjoy going to shows to hear music in my spare time. I go to as many concerts as I can make, and I am a fantastic concert buddy. I enjoy live music. Feeling a camaraderie with the crowd, and the energy from the performers is what I live for.
I have a husband and two dogs. We foster dogs with our local humane society. That means that I take in homeless animals to find loving, forever homes for. This relieves the stress on animals shelters as they don't always have the room for all the animals that need homes. I LOVE dogs, and if you come to visit or stay with me then you will get your fill of animal companionship.
I love to read. I enjoy learning new things. I really enjoy meeting and getting to know new people, but I do tend to be soft spoken and reserved. However, show me that you a trustworthy individual with a good heart and good intentions, and I will be the greatest of friends. I am true to my word, and if I say that I will do something, I follow through. For what it's worth, I am very trustworthy.
I joined couchsurfing because it is fascinating to me that a world of strangers could band together and create a community based on trust and good will. I want to travel and to see our world and to get to know you!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been a member of Couchsurfing for 5 years. The majority of that time I was a college student, so I haven't been a very active member. Now that I am out of school and a little more settled in life, I hope to be able to utilize the CS world a little more! I joined with intent to travel and host. I need to connect with my local community first to get going, and I look forward to meeting you!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have not yet had the opportunity to host or surf! I hope to in the very near future. I have attended a Couchsurfer meeting, in Knoxville, TN. I have also met with other CS individuals for drinks and other social outings.

I love music and going to concerts. I enjoy all kinds of music, so if you need a concert buddy then I am the one you are looking for. I enjoy meeting and talking to new people, especially when that entails beers and fun times. I really like getting out and trying new things, as well as enjoying a night in my pajamas at home. I have a tendency to be happy where ever I am at the moment. I make the best of it and enjoy life. I love to laugh, and I have been told I have a great sense of humor. I tend to make a lot of jokes, and I like people who can share a sense of humor with me.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

Books: I really love reading. My favorite books and authors include: The Perks of Being a Wallflower, Ender's Game, Harry Potter, Hunger Games, The Time Traveler's Wife, Lovely Bones, My Sister's Keeper, most all things by Chuck Palahniuk, The Outsiders, Frankenstein, Bukowski poetry, and E.E. Cummings.

Movies and TV Shows: I enjoy TV shows more than movies. I did not have a TV for 3 of the 4 years I was in school and it didn't bother me a bit. However, I am a huge Doctor Who fan. It embodies the greatest life lessons, and I adore every bit of it. I also really enjoy the Walking Dead, Parks and Rec, The Office, and the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt.

I have traveled to Chicago, New York, and Arizona. I have also seen various parts of the South East countless times.

I am a teacher, so I love learning new things and sharing knowledge with others. I teach music, so I could tell you a lot about music or show you how to play an instrument. I can also teach you how to knit or bake.
