Overview
About Me
I'm presently living in the Providence metro area but call El Paso, TX my home. I have a love/hate relationship with cooking--if it's for other people, I love going all out, if it's just for myself, I'd rather make a PB&J sandwich. I love learning about other cultures--hence my academic focus on anthropology--and reading about anything.
I'm still trying to find my place in the world and am building my own business as a freelance marketing/design consultant while also serving students at Brown University as a campus missionary. The latter position is truly what gives me joy every day as I get to make a small difference in the lives of students. It also is how I get to travel so much, as I need to raise my entire operating budget by sharing my vision for the missions work with people in churches across the US and Canada.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Nothing excites me more than learning about someone else's culture and their personal story that makes them who they are. As a campus missionary, I'm often traveling from place to place trying to raise my operating budget and I've stayed in way too many boring hotels. I am trying to really redefine what it means to travel and get to know a city by meeting and hosting folks from all over the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went on a 2 week missions trip to Peru in 2013 that was absolutely life changing. I could talk about it for hours on end.
