About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To beat bureaucracy and get my visa!
ABOUT ME
I've grown up mostly in the United States, but have always been an aware member of the global community. I began my multi-cultural life as a baby, when I lived in Africa because my parent was in the Peace Corps. I'm majoring in Sociology-Anthropology and am planning on getting my masters in something...undetermined at the moment. I have lived abroad many times and am trying to again! At the moment I can't host anyone since I'm between homes, but I hope to be able to in the future!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My best experiences are always the conversations I've had around delicious meals with my hosts!
Interests
Learning first and foremost, people, places, cultures (as stereotypical as that sounds, it's true), music, playing the trumpet, dancing (specifically Swing, although it has been a while since I last had the opportunity to), and I LOVE food of any and every kind.

Music, Movies, and Books
I really like most movies, books, and music. Call it having uncultured taste, but I think of it as being accepting ;) I love everything from The Weepies to Science Fiction books (Anne McCaffrey anyone? Mercedes Lackey?). I love Harry Potter to Classical Music. I of course do have dislikes (much of country music and horror films), but I never knock something till I've tried it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The most amazing thing that I can think of, at the moment, is that I shook hands with Barack Obama. (Yes, even with the current "eh" feeling towards him - still pretty cool to have shaken hands with the president of the USA!)
Teach, Learn, Share
I teach ESL! I would be more than willing to give English lessons :)
