I have a lot of hobbies, interests and projects. I'm the oldest lady at the all-ages show, politicized by punk. still veggie, locavore enthusiast. eclectic taste in music. I rarely stop dancing. recovering crusty/oogle/gutterpunk; now i love showers and deodorant but I'll still dumpster dive. i love pub trivia and board games. working on my pro-wrestling career. outdoorsy too.

PHILOSOPHY

absurdism...agnostic with an interest in Quakerism, Zen Buddhism, and Unitarianism. I can get down with deism more than theism.

art, volunteering and activism are really important to me. but truly connecting with people and caring for each other is the most important.

I'm an utter nut for Parks & Rec, since I'm a civil servant in Indiana. but i've always loved Amy Poehler. I try not to watch too much tv otherwise.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i was training to be a volunteer firefighter for a while so I actually have run into a burning building...but it was just a training tower.

also i can balance a cup of water on my forehead and then drink it without using my hands. Usually.

Teach, Learn, Share

i can fix a flat on a bike and patch the tube...and change oil & filter on a car. i sew a LOT. i am good at cobbling together a life out of 99% secondhand goods. i make yummy omelettes and baked goods. i do a lot of jerry-rigged carpentry with my power tools.
