About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Heading to California

ABOUT ME

I'm Holly Furen the Tea Lady of Necessitea (www.mynecessitea.com). When I'm not slinging tea, I'm brokering residential real estate. I'm not materialistic so I go out of my way to not spend money. I live a green lifestyle as much as possible but that's because I'm a product of such a green environment. Seattle really is the Emerald City. Except when it's highlighted blue and decorated with 12's.

PHILOSOPHY

Go with the flow.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

It is much more adventurous to stay with people then on my own. I'm too much of a social creature to be wandering around alone. I love showing people the city I call home.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I was in college I would jump in my car on the weekends. Sometimes I would have a couch lined up and sometimes I didn't. I would go out of my way to meet people so that I could secure a couch. If not I would sometimes stay up all night and nap in a park during the day. I could definitely say I know how to surf!

Interests

I like to go dancing, see shows, learn stuff, try new things, hiking, biking, going to the beach (except the ones around here are like big ash trays), and eating! Especially barbeque.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a dancing fool, if I can hear a tune that will make me want to move then I'm all for it. I don't get much time to read but I feel bad for reading fiction. Unless it's a classic I stick with the non, I'm always trying to learn something new. I like funny movies or scary movies but it depends on my mood.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have stories, I could go on for hours. This is not the forum for such lengthy conversations. I will say this, the most amazing thing I ever saw was the rainbow I drove through. The colors all around me were amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I've learned if you run around being scared of the fears in your life you can't actually live. You will learn to regret. And you will miss out on so much life and experiences there are in this short existance.

Countries I’ve Visited
