Overview
About Me
Avid outdoorswoman and homestead day-dreamer! I work my day job at a Wilderness Behavioral Health non-profit that serves Alaskan youth, directing groups' paddling and mountaineering routes, coordinating use permits, and managing field guides. On the side, I am an active small business owner who bakes and sells sourdough bread varieties once/week as my schedule permits, and an amateur "Master" gardener. I've been in Wrangell, AK since 2010 - adventuring on most weekends and many longer expeditions, and forever falling in love with the area over and over again. I love to make things with my hands and be outside as much as possible!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Mostly to keep the option open for my travel to other places. Our own home is not conveniently located for most couch surfers, as we are 12.5 miles outside of town on the only paved "highway."

What I Can Share with Hosts
I am an exceptionally clean and tidy guest, highly motivated to treat others as I would like to be treated; this translates into cooking for my hosts, cleaning up after myself such that I leave my "use area" in equal or better condition than I found it in, and being very considerate of personal/shared space. Overall, I'm on the quiet, keep-to-myself spectrum of guest, and the reason I would be traveling through your area would be more for exposure to the sites and scenes than anything else, so I would not be spending much time at the host's home. :cD
