I'm 21 years old, and have recently graduated from Imperial College London. Grew up in Yorkshire, in England.
Experienced in European travel, but only been outside the EU once- on a travel trip to Ghana.
Heading back to the UK in September to start a job in Finance.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Looking to travel around Australia from around April until August, when I will be coming back to London to start my graduate job.
Looking to start a job in either Sydney or Melbourne to fund my travels- hopefully a bar/restaurant job!

Interests

I enjoy playing guitar- completed classical grades but also enjoy playing acoustic.
Loved rowing with the team at university- haven't rowed since I left in June 2014!
Keeping fit- enjoy taking my dog for long walks/jogs.
Skiing- I have skied since I was around 9 years old around Europe.
Love travelling- have completed 2 interrail trips across Europe, but can't wait to go a bit further afield!
Culture- loved living in London and experiencing museums, festivals and plays.
Generally going out and enjoying myself!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite book has to be Private Peaceful by Michael Morpurgo. Read it so many times growing up- but each time it made me cry!
My favourite film has to be the Sound of Music- dragged my family to see the stage show, and dragged my friends around Salzburg to see all of the filming locations!
Music taste is exceptionally varied- from Kate Bush & Queen to Justin Timberlake and Taylor Swift (not proud of the latter).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think the most amazing thing I've done was travelling around Ghana. Initially taught/helped build the school for a couple of weeks, meeting some incredible people who I'm still in contact with nearly 5 years later.
So fun watching Ghana play in the South African world cup with all the students!
Afterwards we wandered around the jungle there, spend a few days drinking at the turtle beach and stopped off at towns/cities.
