About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I am looking for some lovely couches to crash on in or around Darmstadt/Frankfurt while participating in a 3 week Design and Build program held by the Berlin based architecture studio Raumlabor.
ABOUT ME
Living and playing in Melbourne (Australia) since 2009. Moving to Melbourne from a tiny town in Tasmania has been one of the best decisions of my life thus far. Culturally, socially and personally it has been very insightful and I have evolved a lot and have a perspective on life that I wouldn't have had had I not moved.
Since graduating with a Bachelor in Interior Architecture I spent 4 months in Europe sussing out a few cities with the potential become future homes and meeting a bunch of lovely people. I have been interning as an Interior Architect for the past 6 months and additionally working on a freelance basis as a Landscape Architect. Besides architecture I am addicted to publications and spend too much money and time in my favourite book store, collating ideas and inspiration for my own work as I am still finding my feet in regards to my career and the lifestyle I wish to live. Therefore, I am dedicating the next year to experience. Any and as much as I can get.
My last trip overseas cemented my ideas about working internationally as the Architectural scene within Europe is on par with the kind or work I wish to get involved in. Hence the return to Germany to participate in a build and design program held by my favourite Architectural and Urban design studio called Raumlabor.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I haven't used any official couch surfing websites before but in every house I have lived in we have had friends or friends of friends staying with us for both short and long periods of time. It was always a pleasure helping someone out with a place to stay and having fresh faces around the house.
