About Me

CURRENT MISSION

keeping warm on chilli melbourne days as winter creeps around the corner....eeep!

ABOUT ME

So where things are at for me at the moment.. i'm studying enviro stuff - kind of nearing the end of my degree, which i love but sometimes struggle a bit with the povo student thing (particularly having done the povo artist thing for so long previously)... but life is good and somehow I still get to run away to mexico buy lovely books to inspire me and feed my brain, maybe laze about in bamboo huts in Mong Noi Nua or snorkel on Lizard Island, eat good food, get drunk a little, draw pictures of funny mountains, pay my rent, feed my cat, worry about the state of the world, dream of ways to make it better and sleep long happy sleeps

PHILOSOPHY

live, love, cry, laugh, respect, tread gently, learn, absorb, give back

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

its kinda new to me, so at the moment i am keeping my ears wide open and absorbing everyones couchsurfing stories...but also ill be spreading the word

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

this whole couchsurfing thing is new for me, but has been highly recommended by my flatmate, as a great way to get insight into small or big worlds, that is so much harder to get as a tourist, traveller....i did the tiniest bit in Mexico recently, which sadly wasnt so great so i'm hoping that my second experience some day will renew my faith in hosts. When in Melbourne I hope to return the favour when my flatmates are ok with that, and offer a couch and endless cups of tea to peeps...think is a beautiful way of travelling the world and making amazing new friends and insights you could have never ever met or had otherwise

Interests

enviro stuff, sculpture/art/drawin/playin around, my garden-that lives in my head & somehow needs to be fabricated in my tiny courtyard, sunshine, camping-altho it doesn't happen nearly enough to keep me happy in my crazy town, oppshopping & a new found love of snorkelling, snorkelling, snorkelling
