CURRENT MISSION
Travel whenever I can (harder now with a full-time engineering job), and while traveling... to surf different waves around the world, while meeting great new people and further growing a world perspective.

ABOUT ME

"The world is a book, and those who don't travel read only one page..."

I grew up in a tiny beach town on the beautiful central coast of California called Shell Beach, near San Luis Obispo. I stayed there for 18 years before moving to Santa Barbara to attend university where I graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. I just finished living for 2 years in Europe while attending a joint masters program in sustainable energy engineering and management through an Erasmus Mundus scholarship. I'm now back to California, and working as a Ocean Renewable Energy Engineer/Consultant in San Diego. I love traveling, the beach/ocean, and being active and outdoors. I'm a pretty friendly, laid-back guy who likes to meet new people... so feel free to introduce yourself!!

While living abroad, I met many new friends over in Europe and other places, by both offering a couch where I was staying, and by visiting many other countries!

Intereses

Surfing (preferably on perfect waves), Freediving, Spearfishing, Sailing, Scuba diving, bodysurfing, paddleboarding, beach volleyball, hanging at the beach in general (wiffle ball, bocci, horseshoes, over the line, and other beach games), "outdoorsy" stuff and being in beautiful spots in nature, rock climbing, hiking, sea cave kayaking, going out with friends, staying active, history, different cultures (especially the food), snowboarding, skating, wakeboarding, music, trying to play the guitar, and traveling!!!

If anyone wants surf lessons... I have surfed since I was 11, and instructed junior lifeguards for 3 years during summers, which meant helping a lot of the kids to learn to surf... I'd be happy to help out. Plenty of extra boards and wetsuits lying around the house.
