About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To travel as much as possible, despite having children in school!

ABOUT ME

We are a family of 6 that loves to travel together (and the occasional times we get to travel without the kids!)

We try to travel at least 6 weeks during the summers and as many weekend trips as we can during the school year. We love being outside together and learning about new places.

Laughter makes us happy, so meeting new people and getting to know about them and their culture while hopefully making them smile is what life is all about!

PHILOSOPHY

We try not to put things off until the kids are grown, or we have enough money, or all of those other things people say to avoid failing at their dreams. We go for what we want and work through the obstacles.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We are just getting started, hoping to host and surf and attend a few meetups.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've been exchanging homes for almost 5 years now, and often couch surf amongst friends. Now we want to expand our reach to enjoy more new places and meet more people.

Interests

Travel (duh!), reading, working (we love what we do, which is the best way to live), spending time with out cooks, trying new foods, and lots of music.

Music, Movies, and Books

Currently working my way through the top 100 literary classics. There really are way too many to list - when I get the time I blog at NovelWhore.com about what I'm reading. Of course I'd rather have the time to read than the time to blog so it's not quite updated!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've gone rappelling and zip lining in Mexico, never thought I would be able to scale down a mountain!

Teach, Learn, Share

Hmmm, this is one of those hard questions! I know about online marketing and helping small businesses get more customers. I'm sure there is a lot more and I think those things come out just be talking naturally.
