About Me
Hello fellow Surfers!
After a long travel, along with dwelling in Poland and Romania, I have returned to my home in Asheville, NC. Please, please read the "my home" section. It is filled with very relevant information about our hosting situation. If you fail to read this and then send a request, you will be declined. Sorry, but that's the way it is. I'm busy and don't have time to write back to everyone who doesn't have the decency to learn about who they're trying to stay with. I love Couchsurfing, but my I've learned that more and more people are using it who do not understand the true nature of CS and I do not wish to host these people.
-------------------------------
A dear friend of mine once said that I am a person full of contrasts. It's fair to say that he has a valid point. In life, it is balance that I seek and hopefully one day, I will achieve the goal of balancing these contrasts....
I love the idea of having a home base/sanctuary, yet I love to travel....
I sometimes make rash decisions, yet I am a deep thinker....
I am very sensitive, yet I have a super dark sense of humor that others might find offensive at times...
I like stability, yet I like to take chances and risks. Things have a way of working out.
I fall somewhere between introversion and extroversion.
I tend to carry the weight of the world on my shoulders, yet sometimes I feel numb....
I love being alone, yet I really love company and sharing my adventures with people....
Trying to find the balance between science and spirituality...
I love being cozy, but also find growth in being uncomfortable...
I am bad at remembering, however I do not forget....
I wear dark clothes, yet neon socks and fun under garments! <3
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The type of traveling that I like to do cannot be achieved through staying in hotels and going on standard tours. It is not what I want for myself. I want to make lasting, life connections that will follow me throughout my life. I want to experience what it is truly like to live somewhere.
I have hosted, surfed, attended and organized many meet ups. As someone who enjoys traveling alone, Couchsurfing is the perfect opportunity to meet and connect with others. I have so many amazing memories associated with CS. My traveling experiences would not even be what they are without CS.
I'm happy if I can keep in touch with people I've connected with over CS (and travel). It's important to me. I've even met back up with some of these folks!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music is essential !!!!!!!
I have an appreciation for all music that is not total shit...
Techno and trance most definitely when I'm our dancing....
At home I listen to a variety of electronica type indie music... I like melodic/down tempo type stuff... I tend to make playlists based on the seasons...
Right now, I'm really into this really deep/melodic tech-house. You'd just have to listen:

Movie... love films... too many to name...
Anything Wes Anderson, documentaries... Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is a classic... iOrigins, The Fountain... Probably my three faves, although hard to say indefinitely. I mean,... Fight Club, Pulp Fiction... damn... I love crazy sci-fi mind fuck movies and I also like slow-moving, low budget indie films
Books! I used to read a lot on yoga and meditation and now I'm reading mostly cultural and political books .. A lot of academic journals. I also love books on political theories, history, cultural issues, Norse mythology, some esoteric stuff, although not as much lately, because I find some of it bullshit.
