About Me
CURRENTLY... back in California
ABOUT ME
I am hospitable, good cook, belly laugher and like to keep the outlook positive. I teach English but am really working on improving my Spanish (makes sense, since I live in Hong Kong, right?) If you are a native Spanish speaker, I'll make every effort to make sure my couch is available to you--if you promise to only speak to me in Spanish, deal??
I'm not Chinese, so if you stay with me, you'll most likely be eating with a knife and fork.
PHILOSOPHY
"As soon as I saw you, I knew an adventure was going to happen."
--AA Milne
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I do what I can when I'm not working. That could be making breakfast, showing you some sights or hopefully pointing you in the right direction. I've lived here long enough to tell you what's worth visiting during your short stay.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've only hosted but "Mi casa es su casa."

Music, Movies, and Books
From An Affair to Remember to Zoolander-- Impossible to name my favourites.
Ben Harper, Citizen Cope...Alabama Shakes and tons more. In fact, I've started a new tradition of swapping music with my couch surfers. What you got?
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Every trip I take makes for memorable moments. When I stop becoming awestruck, it's time to put away my passport.
Teach, Learn, Share
Invest in two things: Good shoes and good mattress because you are either in one or the other. (That is, if you are sleeping on someone's couch). You'll do a lot of walking in HK and I'll make the couch as comfy as possible.
