About Me

I grew up in a small city in the East of Czech republic called Vysoké Mýto. After graduating at local gymnasium I moved to Prague to study computer sciences at the CTU - Czech Technical University in Prague, but I still go to my native town a lot. Ever since I can remember, we always travelled a lot with my parents, so I can say I've visited most of the countries in Europe and even some outside of Europe, such as USA, Canada or Nepal.

I am very tolerant, I don't mind your religion, sexual orientation or taste of music. I am easy to get on with. I often travel with my girlfriend Veronika.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I became addicted to travelling very quickly and I always like to meet people who enjoy it as much as I do. Couchsurfing seems to be a great way to do it. I travel in low-cost style, so thanks to Couchsurfing I can visit more places, get more experiences a meet more people. And of course, make it possible for others as well :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Well, I guess my favourite movie would be Interstate 60. Not many people have seen it, but it is really a great movie!
I like old music, such as Pink Floyd or Led Zeppelin, but I like some new interprets as well - have you heard of Steven Wilson?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2014, I did the Camino de Santiago. I started in Oviedo, walked to Santiago de Compostella and the to Cape Finisterre. 450 kms on feet in 17 days. What an amazing experience! I am still in touch with people I met on the way.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you are interested, I can teach you some rock-climbing. There are a few great indoor climbing walls, on which I can safely teach you some basics (or you can teach me :)). When the weather is good, I often go to rock climb outside, so if you happen to be visiting at that time you can surely come with us. It's really cool!
I also like geocaching - if you want, we can find come caches together :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I do have many stories from my travels, such as Camino de Santiago, trekking in Himalayas or rock climbing. I always take a lot of pictures, so I can show you some. And also, I can help you with your computer, if you are having some troubles :) If you want to, I can bring you a little bottle of Czech famous spirit - Becherovka or some home made "slivovice" - plum liquor.
