Hi!

My name is Jan but you can freely call me Honza! I´m an outgoing student and travel phanatic from the Czech Republic. Currently, I study English and German at the Palacký University in Olomouc and love to meet new people (and learn something from their language, too!). Apart from travelling I also enjoy a good music, biking, a good book and partying with friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a much better way to get to know the culture and meet new people. It´s like having a family all around the globe and visit them and I really enjoy this concept! :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to anything basically but if I were to pick some favourites it would be probably rock, punk, indie and some EDM recently. Aldous Huxley is my all time favourite author but there are plenty of others as well. And movies? Anything that makes me laugh, amazes me, makes me feel good and doesn´t bore.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Paragliding as a gift from my friends for my 20th birthday was that sort of activity I probably would never dare to do myself and I LOVED IT!
