ABOUT ME

I am said to be very talkative sometimes, but know how to remain silent, too. I can be funny and serious and I have an opinion on most things. I like to learn and I _really_ dislike people showing off nonexistent talents...
When you come to my place *be sure not to bring food!* I am a foodsaver, which means, that I normally have too much food anyways, so you're in for a feast! ;)

PHILOSOPHY

experience, reflect, decide. and then do it all over again... : )

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couchsurfing experience was in 2011, when I surfed a whole month in Metz before finding a room, I met cool people and I wouldn't want to miss one night on their couches! After that I had amazing times surfing couches in Kyoto and Singapore, getting to know great people and seeing places I was visiting in a totally different light than 'traditional tourists' do.
In 2016 and 2017 I surfed in France and Spain and every experience was great! Luckily I moved from Bielefeld to Berlin in late 2016, which gave me more opportunities to host people as well! And all the surfers I hosted so far have been lovely beings, who helped me a lot with eating all the food...^^
Since early 2018 I'm ready to host people in my new home: Kanthaus in Wurzen. It's much more than just a place to sleep and I'm looking forward to sharing this special lifestyle with lots of couchsurfers in the future! :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing things I've seen: People encountering each other full of love and without fear of rejection and the miraculous bond that can create.
Amazing things I've done: Be the center of a group hug. :)

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: The idea of unconditional sharing and why it has the potential power to save the world.
Learn: Everything you want to teach me!
Share: Food! And a good hug... :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

A hopefully pleasant couchsurfing experience with or without great talks. Sometimes silence is gold and a room, to which you can close the door is the greatest gift of all - I get that! Also as a host... :)
But at other times you really want to engage in talks with the interesting people you just met and then I totally enjoy getting to know you and your life!
I just don't like forced interaction. If anybody of us is tired we should all be able to say so, shouldn't we..? ;)

So, as a surfer I want to make sure not to get on my hosts nerves and I will be _very_ polite.
As a host... see above...^^
