HELLO Couchsurfers and hosts around the world!!

My name is Hope and for the past 2 years I've been working at arts festivals around the world. I would say I'm friendly, chatty, always up for meeting new people and experiencing new things. I try to be a good person whilst enjoying the good things in life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

While I've mostly stayed in hostels during my travels, I've definitely found Couchsurfing to be the more enriching alternative..to me, the people I meet MAKE my travelling experiences :) so I do not ask to Couchsurf simply to save money..I have loved meeting locals, students and ambassadors of places, and hope to be able to host myself one day :)

You may have noticed the neutral review on my profile. In my defence, Adam left that review after I left a neutral review about him. While I was out visiting friends a lot during that week, I received the impression Adam wanted more of his own space. He also did not mention the batch of brownies I made him ;) I hope this review does not put you off hosting me.

Interests

I've just finished working at 3 arts festivals (Adelaide Fringe; Melbourne Comedy Festival and Sydney Film Festival), so I love a bit of theatre, comedy and film! I also love visiting galleries, going on walking tours of cities and settling down with a drink and good food in a cosy pub :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Favourite music..rock and pop! I love my old music..I still feel like there are loads of albums I need to listen to.

Films..too many to mention! I must admit I love gritty, realistic, kitchen-sink type dramas.

I need to read more..! I'm a sucker for well written chic-lits.
