About Me

CURRENT MISSION

finding a job in the US

ABOUT ME

can't really describe myself..you'd have to figure that out yourselves :)

PHILOSOPHY

Hmmm...just enjoying live. You know, working on your PhD can be quite hard. There are people here who are in the lab 24/7. That's not the life I want to lead. I want to pursue my hobbies, have a mind-stimulating job and enough money to eat and drink. And share all that with someone. That's it. I don't care where I live. One always finds (new) friends. Everywhere.

Music, Movies, and Books

too many to list but I'll try:
recent movies: Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Milk, Vicky Cristina Barcelona..in general movies that makes you think also (romantic) comedies and action...
and the best British comedy ever: "Green Wing"!!
plus "Flight of the Conchords"

books: historic novels dealing with the middle ages, books by Christopher Brookmyre (Scottish guy)...books by Christopher Clark, Zadie Smith, Christopher Brookmyre; exceptional: Bulgakow's "Master and Margarita" and Marquez's "Love in the time of cholera"
started reading old classics - you know, the ones one should read but normally don't have time to do it

Teach, Learn, Share

I could endlessly talk about how immune cells migrate in the skin but then again you might get bored like my girlfriend :D
