About Me
21 | social work | sociology | nerd | activist | advocate
I'm just an idealist who wants to travel all the time but also commit to making a change in my community. Sigh.
Currently working on a degree in Social Work and considering some Education courses on the side. I want to aggressively get kids into learning passionately and believing in themselves because we don't have time for the future generations to naturally reform their outlooks and social culture. One of the ways I hope to inspire is nature-based education. How I plan to achieve this ultimate goal is kinda fuzzy right now, bear with me.
I love spontaneous travel and the mountains though my rolly-polly body prevents too long a hike from occurring. I wish things would stop being so expensive and made so cheaply. I love to crochet, cook/bake, read, draw/paint, and play (albeit pathetically) my little ukulele named Luna.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once recited a 7.5 minute poem from memory in front of a theatre full of people about bullying and suicide (To This Day by Shane Kocyzan) and had people hugging me and crying and people telling me that I opened their eyes and inspired them and I think that was the biggest impact I've made to date on people.

What I Can Share with Hosts
I've been told I'm pretty funny (though these days my humor consists of 90% bad puns) and I'm a fairly good cook. I'm well-rounded and I'd say I'm educated enough to carry on a long discussion. I'm also stupidly whimsical and a bit childishly passionate, so there's that.
