ABOUT ME

I am an easy going person that likes to share time with travelers. I am very sociable and enjoy sharing the beauty of this world with people.
I study for a PhD in computer vision and cognitive robotics.
I am interested in social economy. In my hometown I am involved in a project of community currency and local development.
I am a (very) amateur cellist.

PHILOSOPHY

Horacio Oliveira (as you probably have guessed) is a fictional character depicted by Julio Cortázar in his novel "Rayuela". For me is a kind of alter ego (although I have a much lower profile as him :). I do not want to fool anyone but greedy web loobies that try to get profit of our private data. I am against all those companies but at the same time want to find ways of using them in our own benefit.

Following Fernando Pessoa :) and many others I think the most effective way to fool that data industry is to create fictional identities.

It does not mean that I have secrets for my friends and guests. I am a very open person and you can know everything about me just by asking.
