COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've rarely had a bad experience hosting. I enjoy meeting many different people with a variety of viewpoints.

My experience with surfing has been difficult, with only a few people actually responding to requests and then most assuming you're using copypasta. :|

Mod, punk, postpunk, new wave, 8-bit, electro, nu-rave... wait, wtf is nu-rave? ahhh, nevermind. I listen to some different things and I'm always looking to hear new music, particularly if it's live.

I love books and will gladly trade you some if I have any spare. I typically enjoy classics or beat authors...

I really enjoy old movies, those that share an idea or observation of their society rather than sell a product or franchise... think anything with Humphrey Bogart, Gregory Peck or Paul Newman.

Sailed to Moreton Island and fed wild dolphins... learning that you cannot have a schedule when you're sailing.

Climbed the great pyramids of Giza after the fall of a dictator.

Explored Petra on horseback and Wadi Rum on camelback. The deafening silence of the desert at night.

Photographed a deserted Madain Saleh and followed the remains of the Hejaz railway back to Medina.
