II just moved to Gothenburg, Sweden and started a new job! (July 2019)

ABOUT ME

Deeply dived into my research in the physics of laser plasmas, currently working at the university in Sweden.

Used to be a hitch-hiker, but as I am not a student anymore, I do not have enough time for this slow but enriching way of travelling. I play chess in the chess club and in some regular local competitions.

I would describe myself as an extrovert, friendly man open to new experiences.

Non-smoker.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I and my wife Karolina would like to host interesting people in order to get enriched by mutual transfer of own life experiences ;)

We are working through the week so we will probably not stay with you too much during your visit. However, we can hang out in the evenings or on weekends. We can also go for a weekend trip outside Gothenburg to hike a little bit, collect mushrooms or drink a beer in a village pub etc.

We would also like to use the hospitality of other community members from time to time. The motivation is to get to know interesting people around the globe and see how life is in his town/country. We mainly travel standardly using Booking.com though.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE (till 2019)

I have been hosted six times so far (Rotterdam, Helsinki, Tallinn, Chicago, Salt Lake City, Copenhagen). We had ten visitors when we lived in Prague and also here in Gothenburg. Several walks in Prague with other surfers, which were hosted by my friends.
