Overview
About Me
I am a passionate person who works arduously to achieve my personal and professional goals. I am optimistic and easy going. I love traveling, listening to music, reading and writing, and eating delicious food. I also love playing adventure/RPG video games and dancing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think that one of the major reasons to travel to new places is to meet new people. The best way to do that is to mingle with the locals, not stay in hotels and listen to tour guides. :]
Interests
I am interested in pretty much anything that is DIY, creative, fun, and/or interesting. I love to learn. I also pretty much listen to all kinds of music and stories. One of my favorite things to do is play DDR (or any variation of it) at the arcade. Recently, I have taken up exploring different wines and finding alcoholic drinks I like since I'm pretty new to drinking (I'm a social drinker, so it helps to know what I like to drink when I'm social! haha).

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite music would be R&B, rock, techno, acoustic....pretty much anything with a good beat and/or an amazing voice! I love romantic comedies/comedies. I love books based on traveling, and self-discovery (like Eat, Pray, Love). My favorite actress is Angelina Jolie, my favorite female singer is Christina Aguilera (and Queen B of course), my favorite male artist Neyo, and my favorite band is The Cab (and Fall Out Boy).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I LOVE to learn, as evident by the fact that I started taking college courses in middle school, and completed my Associates Degree in Psychology a week before I graduated from high school ;) Now, I am working on getting my Master's degree in public health at Columbia University in New York City :D
Teach, Learn, Share
I love to talk to people about their live experiences and sharing mine as well. I think stories are the best way for people to connect with one another, and find that maybe we all aren't so different after all :)
I also just talking about life, goals, aspirations dreams... pretty much anything can become an interesting conversation with someone new (and long time friends as well!).
Lastly, I am currently studying Japanese, so I would LOVE to practice with someone, and wouldn't mind helping others with their English :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
My upbeat personality, creativity, sense of humor, and curiosity at what the world has to offer, and our experiences that led us to be who we are today.
