🌎 We're on a world trip – traveling through some of the most amazing countries – and therefore not able to host in Vienna until mid 2019. Sorry!

Currently, we're on a one-year long trip, making our way through the Philippines, Borneo, Indonesia, Western Australia, Tonga, Alaska, Canada, California, Mexiko and Costa Rica. We enjoy having time to dive deeper into the countries we're in and explore remoter areas a lot.

We're both communication and digital designers living in beautiful Vienna, Austria. Matthias founded his own agency about three years ago and thereby fulfilled his dream of independence and being his own boss. When we're not at work, we're fond of climbing & bouldering, dancing lindy hop (if you've never heard of it, try it – it's a lot of fun!), donate some of our time as voluntary paramedics, enjoy cooking and eating even more since we're vegetarian and keep ourselves fit by hiking, biking, jogging, doing yoga and swimming. Additionally, we're into photography & videography, enjoy conversations and getting inspiration from people around the globe, scuba diving, surfing & kite surfing (at least we´re trying), skiing & snowboarding.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We absolutely love the idea of couchsurfing, since this is what makes our journeys special. We also enjoy opening our home and mind to other couchsurfers, since we've already met many inspiring people and by the way it's exciting to see your hometown through the eyes of a traveller.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We met many lovely people during traveling and as hosts and are still in contact with most of them. We recommend couchsurfing to our friends and other travelers all the time.

Interests

Doris: People describe me as a talkative and creative person with a passion for traveling, nature and white chocolate. I'm fascinated by all animals, that's why I'm vegetarian. Additionally I like spontaneous trips, wild camping, spending time in the mountains, doing yoga, (finding time for) reading, snorkeling and scuba diving..

Matthias: Since I was a child I've been curious about other cultures and ways of life, that's why traveling is so important to me. Moreover, I enjoy photography, cooking and outdoor sports (cycling, running, climbing, skiing).
