I am a young contemporary dancer and choreographer. I have experience in directing and choreographing in theatre and teaching contemporary dance. I started dance at an early age as a pop dancer. I joined the theatre team of the Faculty of Law at Cairo University. I have worked in one TV show and nineteen theatre performances since 2004, some of which were at the university theatre, and some which were for independent theatres. Examples include; dance theatre pieces "How many times can one die and live" and "Who are you? I am" both for Miguel Vaylon, Director of Nadieshda- International Cultural Society.
I began as a professional in contemporary dance in 2008 with the "Contemporary Dance Workshop Program" at Studio Emad Eldin.
For me, dance is a visionary form of expression and communication, not just movement and I try to find ways that help to develop my own approach.
One of my experiences abroad was in France, it opened my mind and allowed me find a sense of freedom, non-judgment, and rule breaking approaches to dance, choreography and discovery
