Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have space to host people, and really enjoy doing so. I've hosted many friends, acquaintances, friends-of-friends, and I enjoy the interaction and sharing and learning about new people and places, or just the satisfaction of helping someone out. And being a couchsurfing guest allows me to connect locally in a way that would be impossible in a hotel or hostel.
So far, CS has reaffirmed for me that the world is fully of mainly good and interesting people. CS is meaningful and useful.
