I’m Houssam, 25 yrs old, grew up in Algeria, lived in France and came back to the origins, yes I’m with the ideology that everyone should live in his country and work to make it better.

I like to travel and what I like most is discovering how people are living in the next side of the sea, I live not far from the beach, this why you see some photo of me in the water and they are the latest photos, just took this summer after I changed my haircut, yeah I had a long hair.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Even before discovering Couchsurfing, I liked to make friends from different countries, I see it like a fast way to meet people with a commun goal which is traveling to discover other ways of living.

I can listen to any kind of music, If I feel like there is a nice sound to go away with and which make me happy, I smile unconsciously when I hear a nice song.

Most books I read are influential books about successful people. I studied business and leadership, so I always want to know more, I’m influenced by my field :)

I like Movies, I like going to the cinema and I go there every time there’s a good new movie that’s worth seeing it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For me every country I visit, I keep extraordinary memories from it, the best experience for me was in a peaceful island in Malaysia, where the local were kind and look happy all the time, they talk with you naively without complexes and are very welcoming, I tried some activities there like skydiving in a beautiful place, tree climbing, eating local food and making malaysian friends.

That was the best experience, even more exciting than Indonesia and Thailand.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can tell you about how is life in my country, how we live, it’s different from Europe but not too much, we have many funny traditions, our second language is French, so we almost all speak it fluently, can teach you some words just to start.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share the housework with my hosts, I clean up and cook. Also share stories and experiences. As we have different languages, that will be funny trying to spell difficult words.
