I hope to gain more security with myself, and allow myself to enjoy life to the fullest

ABOUT ME

I grew up in a household of five children, with a father from Dublin and a mother from New Orleans. I grew up in the religious-conservative portions of the Southern United States, and can say that I have been affected by that. I would not consider myself to be a very religious or conservative person, but would still say that I have managed to make friends with many. I enjoy doing things, and have a habit of over-extending myself. I am currently trying to simplify my life and will confess that I am having trouble with it. I enjoy meeting new people, and I definitely like to know what makes both people and things tick. I like to think that I am a pretty open-minded person, although I would never say that I am perfect in that department. I do not do well with extremes, and consider myself to be an overall well-rounded and middle-grounded individual. Diversity is something that I never knew I would love. I am passionate and that surprises some people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I need to get out more, and experience the world before I am expected to be in the world. I really try to get the most out of everything, and I like to observe differences in people. I enjoy learning about someone's history, and how that has affected their opinions and beliefs. I am very familiar with my city and have gone from hating it to loving it by giving it a second chance. I love coffee!
