About Me
Hello fellow surfers! I'm a young guy living with my wife, Valerie and nearly two year old son, Sage. I'm originally from Oxford, England and decided to immigrate here to Houston,Tx after meeting my then, wife to be. It was the obvious choice as she already had children here in the States. So, I couldn't whisk her away back to ol'blighty!
I'm a qualified carpenter but not sure how much longer I'll be practicing as one because I have plans to start my education towards a physical therapist degree.
My wife is a professional dance teacher, she specializes in tap and she's also a theatre actor and teacher. Which she also used to do professionally until she decided to channel her efforts more towards dance.
Our son is two and is a wonderful, loving, independent young lad, he tends to be a little bit shy at first but once he gets to know you, he'll be climbing all over you, pulling you every which way until you play with him!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've been lucky enough to have had some great friends over the years that have given me their couches in times of need or just as a cheaper/free option.
It's time to give back and besides that, it's a genuinely wonderful concept.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music:
Folk music is a big favorite, bon iver, Mumford and son's etc. I'm a huge music fan in general with rap/pop being my least favorite genre.
Movies:
Star Wars (the empire strikes back being at the top of that list of course! Pan's Labrynth, Sunshine, Interstellar. We tend to watch a lot of independent films on our household.
Books:
Anything by Iain. M Banks, The Hobbit, 1984, Of mice and men
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I decided it would be a good idea to strip down publicly after a hard rock calling festival in Hyde Park and went for a swim in the fountain near marble arch. it was inspiring enough for other people to join me, one guy claimed it to be legendary and gave me a crate of beer for my efforts... Now I tend to behave myself a little more in order to be a better role model for my son!
