CURRENT MISSION

Trying to learn the Spanish language through living in a spanish city. Also, it would be a great idea to spread Chinese culture around while I travel in these places. Learn more about what is going on in this diverse world and figure out my future path

ABOUT ME

I am a university student who enjoys travelling and hiking a lot. I have studied in Hong Kong, Copenhagen (Denmark) and North Carolina (United States) before. Now I am trying to do a language semester in Spain

I like going to special restaurants and also learning how to cook. Trying out the different dishes and learn through trial and error is interesting!

I always seek for opportunities to travel around the world, especially to countries outside Asia. I have been to Kenya as a student ambassador from a local environmental organization called Yan Oi Tong. I have also been to Cardiff for a few days for some school conference.

PHILOSOPHY

Although I am a rather pragmatic person, I believe that at times one should dream. Do things that are out of your comfort zone. It is only then when a person really grows.

That is why I learned Spanish. Even though there isn't really any use of the language in Hong Kong, I learn it because I like the culture and the language is just beautiful.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I consider couchsurfing the most local way of learning about a city and its culture. I also hope to bring my own culture to the places which I visit and this seems like a good way to achieve this.

兴趣

I like hiking a lot and enjoy orienteering. Music is always a good topic when chatting with me.

Learning new languages and speaking it in a weird accent :D
