ABOUT ME

We are recent transplants from Chicago, which has given us many years of wonderful Couchsurfing experiences. Expecting many more in Omaha!

We like people and stories, exploring and adventuring, and investing in things that matter.

J spends all day every day doing doctor-y things, but any free time is filled with cultivating the perfect cup of espresso, making music, tending to an immense record collection, or biking around Omaha.

K is an organizational development consultant (with a background in linguistics and community organizing), but her extra time is filled with doing free stuff around the city (free plays! free museums! free trapeze classes!), hiking, and growing tasty things in the backyard!

We like doing things you probably enjoyed when you were 7 years old: making s'mores in the backyard, riding our bikes, drawing pictures, pretending to be pirates. And we dig other people who like that kind of stuff!

We also have a lot of history in Chicago with social justice issues connected to healthcare, education, and immigration... and love to meet folks who keep challenging us those areas!
