Overview
About Me
I'm an ambiverted (more introverted than extraverted) environmental designer, evaluator, and mapmaker who wants to empower diverse communities in the planning process. I like to hike, take photographs, ride the bicycle, and ride public transit to explore new places in the area. Behind the scenes (read: at home) I like to cook, write, read, work on 3D models, and produce maps, photos, and graphic design work. I like art shows, architecture, drawing, environments that are human-centric, areas that were historically industrial, theater, volunteering, and exploring new places, particularly small towns.
But enough about me! :) I want to learn more about you!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've taken the intercity train many times. The longest trip that I did was traveling from San Francisco to Minneapolis via the Coast Starlight and Empire Builder, which took 5 days each way. My most recent trip was when I moved to Minneapolis, where I took the California Zephyr. That took 3 days, a layover in Chicago, and an 8-hour ride on the Empire Builder to my current home. I highly recommend the train as an alternative to air travel.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love taking photos, particularly long exposure shots at night.
If you're ever into learning how to use GIS (geographic information systems) to map stuff, let me know :)
Also, while I am struggling to return playing the guitar, I'm familiar enough with the chords that I can show you how to use them.
Finally, I can teach you how to ride a bike. Or at least try to.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'll be your tour guide, and be that person to discover a new part of the Twin Cities. Let's do it by public transit (or bike!) as much as we can! (I can also do that with the SF Bay Area.) Other than that, if there's something you want to understand that's city planning related, I can do that.
