About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to meet people, explore new places, and have as many adventures as possible.

ABOUT ME

I love traveling more than almost anything and enjoy taking advantage of unique opportunities to meet people and try new things, especially through traveling.

PHILOSOPHY

Never stop exploring.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Because I am fresh out of college and don't have my own place, I can only surf. But I hope to eventually become a very active member of the couchsurfing family and hopefully host!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never hosted before, since I do not have a place of my own. I have couchsurfed in Malaysia and Colorado with friends and they were both fantastic experiences!

Interests

I enjoy running, photography, outdoor recreation, fun nightlife, and learning about all types of cultures.
There's so many things that I want to learn how to do in my life, and so many things I want to experience. I want to become scuba certified, I want to sail around the world (once I learn how!), I want to see as many countries as possible and learn as many languages as I can.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love action and suspense movies. I love nearly all music. My favorite book is The Poisonwood Bible, by Barbara Kingsolver. I used to play the violin, and one of my favorite couchsurfing experiences was picking up an old violin and playing alongside my hosts in a guitar/violin jam session.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

First thing that comes to mind.. I saw millions of bats fly out of Deer Cave in Borneo at sunset (Just like in the Planet Earth series!)

Teach, Learn, Share

I am going to be an English teacher in Indonesia starting March 2014. I have never been a teacher before, so if anyone wants to improve their English with me, I'd be happy to practice teaching it! I studied Anthropology of Religion at the university, so I love discussing cultures and religious ideas.

Countries I’ve Visited

Brazil, Cambodia, Indonesia, Israel, Malaysia, Mexico, Thailand

Countries I’ve Lived In
