About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Explore the world before I must return to "normalcy!"
ABOUT ME
Currently a student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Wisconsin, USA. For the academic year of 2011-2012 I am studying abroad in Sevilla, España. I just turned 21 and celebrated while in Spain, not too shabby of a birthday! ;-)
My goals while abroad are to see as much of Europe as possible and since I am on a student budget, couch surfing seems like the best way to go.
PHILOSOPHY
Stay hungry. Stay foolish. Il bel far niente.Carpe diem, quam minimum credula postero.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I was first introduced to the concept of couchsurfing from the Wall Street Journal. There was a small article about it in there and I decided I wanted to try it once I got to Europe. Since I am now in Spain, I can only surf, however, I love this idea and plan on opening up my couch to surfers as soon as possible when I return the USA.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Gotta start somewhere! I have traveled a lot around the United States and Europe. I've stayed in some nice places and stayed in some not so nice places. Also, I have had the experience of "uhhh, so where are we sleeping tonight?" Those nights whatever looks like a bed/soft ground became our beds.

Music, Movies, and Books
As long as there is a beat and a catchy lyric, I'm open. My favorite playlists change depending on my mood and I rather enjoy making them. I enjoy movies that are thought provoking and won't be completely predictable within the first 10 minutes. That said, a good romantic comedy, even when I know how it is going to end, always makes me smile after a long day. My reading to-do list is long, I recently found a new electronic way to enjoy books so it is slowly being shortened.. But, I'm always interested in hearing about new titles to read. Some of my favorites are The Lord of the Rings, Pride and Prejudice, Harry Potter (all), 1984, Brave New World, Lord of the Flies and the list goes on and on...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Attended Jon Stewart's Rally to Restore Sanity in Washington D.C. in 2010! Couldn't ask for a more hilarious group of people to spend a weekend with.
