About Me

Hi! I'm Henrique, you can call me Rick. I'm a 27yo Brazilian living in Toronto. I'm currently a student of Interaction Design and French.

I enjoy my free time watching movies, TV shows, reading books and listening to music. I also go out for runs and love to ride my bike along Toronto's lakeshore.

I'm kind of a quiet person, a good listener. Unless you bring out a subject which I'm very fond of (LORDS OF THE RINGS!!!!!!!) - in that case no one can't stop me.

I'm also addicted to music. Some people say that I have a pretty good voice for singing. I guess singing is the thing that I like the most and do best, apart from sleeping.

I consider myself a very good friend. I try to live life as an understanding and positive person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I used to be available to host when I lived in Sao Paulo. I recently moved to Canada and my apartment is not currently set up for guests. :/

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed for the first time in Montreal two years ago, it was a wonderful experience. I've made really good friends for life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like some bands that are mostly unknown: Copeland, Sleeping at Last, Eisley, Sucré, Two Door Cinema Club, Tiê. And some mainstreams like Florence and the Machine and Adele.

I guess my favourite book ever is The Lord of the Rings trilogy. Right after comes The Hobbit and all other writings from Tolkien. All of Neil Gaiman's books, The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Watchmen, Stephen King's Dark Tower series. That's my top of my list (and it goes on and on), but if there's fantasy or mystery within that I'll fancy.

Movies are too many to be listed here.
