HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I discovered the principle some years ago while travelling in Europe, and was positively amazed by how people can be trustful and open minded in a world where safety and security check is becoming a norm. The simple fact that people rely on each other without asking for guarantees and that they take the risk of trusting is wonderful. I want to spread the word around and encourage anyone to use this CS example for trusting the world and its people, as the only way to build a sustainable future...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Greece,Italy,California, the Netherlands,Turkey... always had a wonderful time!! Meeting people that act as friends immediately, that are welcoming, open minded and warm, making you feel at home within minutes! And what a nice way to discover the unknown side of a country, and the local culture! And hosting people in Portugal and in Paris was a lot of fun. I had some of the most interesting conversations ever with those CS I met...

I like so many different kinds of music, really depends on my mood, from Verdi to the Wriggles, and from Pink Floyd to Piaf. Same for movies, although I am very sensitive to colors and crazy atmospheres, fan of Almodovar or Kusturica. I love reading, almost anything, classics (from Ronsard to Vian) or fantasy (Lord of the Ring, Foundation), big fan of historic books (Shakespeare, Druon).

I've been driving a 2CV from Paris to Moscow and back through 10 different cities in Europe. 10 000km and as many fun memories!

I can teach French cooking, from delicious quiches to crepes or chocolate fondants, and nutrition to explain anyone the secret of the "French paradox"!
I can teach the basic steps of Charleston or Swing dancing.
I can teach how (not) to ruin a project or a team :-)
