ABOUT ME

I am easygoing and open-minded. Love to meet new friends and exchange different life experience and philosophies.
Working in the theatre as a stage manager, lighting designer, production coordinator and technician for more than 10 years. There are many world famous theatre companies I've worked with. Therefore, I have lots of stories to share with people who found theatre interesting.

Currently live close to Tamsui (Danshui), famous sunset spot. I love walking or cycling along the river. I might not be able to offer a couch. But definitely love to show you around and help you to know a bit more about Taiwan.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been hosted three times in Australia. Wonderful experiences. Now I can't offer a couch, but I'd love to meet up for a drink, a chat, and be a local tour guide in Taipei.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Music with touching vocals or lyrics. Best Band Ever: QUEEN. "Bohemian Rhapsody" is my favorite song. I can't help to cry no matter how many times I listen. I also like these Singers: Damien Rice, David Bowie, Barry White, Joss Stone, James Blunt, Chantal Kreviazuk, Robbie Williams, Daniel Powter.....

Books: I prefer novels and interesting books. Such as: Book Thief, Kite Runner, Mahabharata...

Movies: Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Walk the line, Se souvenir des belles choses, FRIENDS,Chicago, Click, Little sunshine, Peaceful Warrior,Pirates of the Caribbean, MAMA MIA, Singing in the rain, GODFATHER, Scent of a Woman, Good Will Hunting, Hotel Rwanda, A time to kill, Freedom Writers, Million Dollar Baby....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteer in the aboriginal villages upon the hills around norther-west Thailand. Karen people have pure and beautiful hearts.

I have a great German friend, Marcus, who I met in Cambridge in 2000. We carry on our friendship through emails and few regular mails till I visited him in Berlin after 5 years. We are still very good friends now and forever.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Share life experiences and stories about travelling through different countries and what theatre lives are all about. I can cook Taiwanese dishes (better with veggies) and traditional dessert. Can also bake vegan banana cake with soy milk and olive oil. (My own recipe after several experiments, low fat and healthy)
I am a tidy, polite and friendly guest. Any host who is willing to host me will receive lots of appreciation and a little special souvenir from Taiwan. Thank you.
