My husband, Stephan's profile: https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/step_t (Since we have traveled together, there are some references of us on his profile.)

I'm an easygoing and friendly person. (It's quite strange to say that by myself.) My first time traveling to overseas is at 27-year-old. Obviously, It is not a young age comparing to many western backpackers. I still remembered how culture-shocked I was when I stood in the street in Japan. Since then, I can't stop my desire to see the world more.

I went to Australia for working holiday for two years. This experience helped me to realise that I want to live a simple life. I wanted to leave the the circle that was so-called "success." (graduating from a good school then finding a good job, then getting married) I believed that there was lots of possibilities of life styles. After finishing second working year in Australia, I traveled to New Zealand alone and met my Mr. Right, Stephan. The journey changed from "me" to "us".

In March 2016, we started our cycling tour from Taiwan, through China, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Iran, Turkey, Greece, Balkan countries, Italy, Austria. Finally, we arrived Germany in April 2017. After a simple and lovely wedding in Germany, we decided to live on our bicycles and travel more until we ran out of money or felt tired of it. The more we traveled, the more humble we became. I am very grateful that we can live the way we like.

P.S: If you think Taiwan is part of China, don't even bother to send me a request. I definitely will say NO. Because Taiwan is NOT part of China.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I must admit that one of the main reasons, perhaps the most important reason that I am CS is that it saves me money! But I am not just taking the couch for free but also using CS as a mean to explore more, to travel with a deeper understanding of the local culture.
I like to travel and become part of the local community, but not just as a tourist.
