Hi there! My name is Hsien-Yi, sometimes people find it's hard to pronounce it so it's better to just called me Vera and that will definatly make your life much easier!

I'm an illustration student currently study in Cambridge.

I was studying Early Childhood Education and supposed to be a teacher after graduated. However, I found drawing and making art are still my favourite things to do all the time. Then the idea of making picture books came to my mind, and I realised that this could also be an alternative way to spread knowledge and educate children, and that's the reason I went to Cambridge school of art to explore more possibilities in the area for children's books illustration.

Spending 6 years to finish bachelor degree because of holding two majors degrees at the same time, and got double credits more than the graduate standard! Most of my friends think I'm crazy but I made it anyway.
