ABOUT ME

Ok let's try this self assessment here...
I'm Icelandic.
I'm a grad student in Economics at the University of Colorado.
I'm an outdoor enthusiast, especially in the winter! (doesn't hurt living in Colorado)
I'm very Nordic in some ways (honest, efficient, on top of things) but I always appreciate what others bring to the table. How boring the world would be if everyone was like me :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I travel and host.
Seriously though, after years of participating in various European student organization I cannot fathom having a vacation at a tourist destination staying at some random tourist resort. No thanks! I've come to appreciate how precious it is to meet other people and learn from them. This is what drew me to couchsurfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not much yet.
I have been in contact with a friend who has often hosted people so I've met his couchsurfees and then I have on a few occasions gone out for drinks and such with visitors.

Interests

I like Economics.
Sustainable living.
Yoga and yogic philosophy.
Winter Sports, all of them! (ESPECIALLY curling)
Hiking and skiing.
Entrepreneurship.
Classical singers (a recent one).

Haven't read any serious literature for a while now...
I liked Kurt Vonnegut.
